Back in the late 2008 Chrystler released something called the Chrystler CGI Toolkit at www.thecgizone.com(now closed). The purpose of the files released was for artists in Automotive Visualization to have real examples of production level cars with all the resources and references that Chrystler could add. The data and information available for download is the same materials that is provided to companies to create CGI images and animations for Chrysler.
[fold=中间段简介]The cars included are:CHRYSLER: 2008 Sebring Convertible LimitedJEEP: 2007 Wrangler Rubicon 4x4 two-doorDODGE: 2008 Viper Coupe SRT10The fileformat is Autodesk Maya 8 .mbApart from ultra detailed models(10+ mil tris) with interiors, undercarriage and optional part added (except for the engines) the toolkit also includes hundreds of professional reference photos (3000x1980px), beautyshots, insides, details, undercarriage and backgroundplates. This is the ultimate resource of 3d cars for anyone who wants to practise on real life production assets.
A word of advice. These files are raw cad converts with no Quads and every detail is there so they are hard to work with. But thats often how you get stuff in real productions. Tough ;)
